Sept 2016 ASQ Certification News: Computer Based Testing
Recently, ASQ unveiled an all-new certification process, called Computer-Based Testing (CBT). Certification tests will no longer be administered by the local sections; instead, you will have to go to a Prometric test center. The nearest Prometric test centers are in Ashwaubenon (Green Bay), Wausau, and Brookfield (Milwaukee). Rather than taking a test on a specific date, there will now be a specific range of dates during which the certification tests will be given. For more information and to schedule your appointment, please visit www.asq.org/cbt.
Please note that CBT will not affect the recertification process. Recertification journals should still be sent to the Recertification Chair.
Recertification Journals
Recertification is a simple process of obtaining a minimum of 18 recertification units (RUs) within your three-year certification period. Don’t forget to keep track of your points!
You may download a recertification journal from www.asq.org/certification/recertification/rucredits
Members of ASQ section 1206 should send their recertification journals to:
Dave G. Jorgensen
N5979 Wild West Lane
Fond du Lac, WI 54937
Please DO NOT send journals Certified mail!
Please don’t forget to sign the form, attach payment or credit card info and include a letter verifying RU's for employment. If you are including a certificate for internal training provided by your company, please make sure the number of contact hours is indicated on the certificate. These items are commonly forgotten and cause delays in processing.
